Miles

"My wife and I used  3 bolts of fabric to produce 34 gowns for Inclusion Selkirk which is a local non-profit organization that works with group homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities."

Ranveer K.

Botswana

"I just wanted to thank you for developing this pattern, it is incredibly usefull. I have a fabric and sewing supplies store in Botswana and this is helping us provide technical support for people to sew these gowns. I will definitely mention your incredible contribution to the Government of Botswana."

"We are also using a new simpler pattern which reduces the number of steps/operations to construct the gowns and increases rate of production, making the gowns cheaper."

Mary M.

Montana > Idaho

Mary McRae made gowns and donated to Family Medicine Residency of Idaho. "Bringing communities together, and a way for those at home to help.....I Love the idea. Purpose and Hope."

Undercover Quilters

Pennsylvania

"Thanks to your generosity in offering a free pattern, my quilt guild, Undercover Quilters in Brookhaven, Pa., was able to make isolation gowns for a local nursing home.  We supplied over 50 gowns in 7 days that we made using our home machines, donated sheets, our stashes of bias binding, elastic and thread.  The last 10 gowns are an extra large size that was requested for the larger staff members.  I was able to easily scale your pattern up to the wider body size, greater length and longer sleeve they needed."  Marise S.

Rebecca E.

Texas

"My brother is a dentist and asked me to make him some so he can wash. He is almost out of the paper ones. He ordered fabric and just got it in today."

Julie Fomenko

Asst. Professor, Texas A&M University

"I find mask making therapeutic - I'm a nurse educator no longer at the bedside so have been making them for my former students fighting on the frontline - have made and donated over 700 masks so far! It makes me feel like I'm doing something to help out!  Thank you!!!!"

Rashawan T.

Canada

"I modified it a bit around the arms and neck I also changed the position of the ties to come from inside the side seams instead of the edges and the top straps come from under the neck binding."

Angelique Julien

New York

"I made gowns from the MadebyUs kit. I have a straight stitch as well as a merrow machine- which worked well with the production. Depending on how long each one takes to assemble I may be able to take on more. I’m a pattern maker and sample maker by trade so am happy to be of help! "
